Unpacking with us means boxes emptied and rooms organized, not just cleared
Movers who offer unpacking usually take items out of boxes and set them on counters. We open the box, decide with you where things belong, and put them away so the cabinet or closet works on day one. Empty boxes and paper leave the room as we finish it.
This service is built for people who are already in the house, want real help getting through the stack, and are happy to be part of the decisions. If you would rather be away while a team sets up and styles the entire home before you arrive, our luxury move-in unpacking service is designed for that.
Which rooms to unpack first
The kitchen, the primary bedroom and at least one bathroom come first because they decide whether you can cook, sleep and get ready for work. Kids' rooms come next if you have children, then the home office, then everything else.
Our guide to what to unpack first after a move covers the order in more detail if you are doing part of it yourself.
- Session one: kitchen and pantry so meals and coffee are possible
- Session two: bedrooms, bathrooms and linen closet
- Later sessions: office, playroom, guest room, storage and garage in season
A four-hour session or a full day: how to choose
A four-hour session starting around $600 suits a focused job, such as a kitchen in a smaller home or finishing the last stubborn rooms weeks after the move. A full day is the better fit when most of the house is still in boxes, because it lets a team work several rooms at once; a typical full-day unpacking project starts around $1,800. For a whole home, packing and unpacking together average around one to three weeks.
If you need organizing products such as drawer dividers or pantry bins, we can source them as we go and return anything unused. Read how long it takes to unpack for a realistic sense of the time involved.

| Situation | Usual booking |
|---|---|
| Kitchen only, or a few rooms left over | One four-hour session |
| Most of a three- or four-bedroom home in boxes | One to two full days |
| Large home, plus closets and storage rooms | Several full days with a larger team |
Las Vegas details that change the unpacking plan
In the summer, boxes left in a garage can face temperatures well past what is outside. We pull heat-sensitive things first: candles, wine, medications you want indoors, photographs, electronics, makeup and pantry food. Garage organizing itself runs mid-October through April, so in hotter months we stage garage boxes neatly and come back when it cools.
Many homes here are new construction with fine dust left in drawers and cabinets. We wipe shelves before loading them. And because so many people arrive from California or out of state, we often help decide what to do with items that suited the old house but have no place in the new one.
Who we coordinate with
We do not drive trucks or move furniture between homes; your moving company handles transport. Once you are in, we can coordinate with handymen, junk removal companies and other vendors so shelves get mounted and excess boxes leave. Not sure who does what? Our comparison of an organizer versus a moving company for unpacking breaks it down.
