Maintenance keeps an organized home organized as life changes
Even the cleanest system drifts. Kids grow out of clothes, online orders pile up, holiday décor comes back out, a busy month pushes things onto the nearest flat surface. None of that means the original organizing failed. It means the house needs a reset.
A maintenance visit is that reset, done by people who know the system. We put items back where they belong, clear what has crept in, restock labels and containers, and change anything that has turned out not to fit the way your household really lives.
What happens during a refresh visit
Each visit is focused on the spaces that need attention most. It can include:
We start each visit with a five-minute walk-through so you can point out what bothers you most, and we end by noting anything that needs a bigger change next time. That running list means each visit builds on the last instead of starting from scratch.
- Resetting previously organized rooms such as the pantry, closets, playroom or office
- Re-categorizing and returning items to their designated places
- Decluttering new or accumulated belongings with you
- Adjusting zones that are not working anymore, such as a pantry shelf the kids cannot reach
- Restocking and relabeling
- Final touches so the space looks pulled together again
How often Las Vegas households book maintenance
Frequency depends on the household. Busy families with young children often prefer a monthly or every-other-month visit for the pantry, playroom and kids' closets. Couples and smaller households tend to book quarterly. Others simply call before the times their home works hardest.
In Las Vegas those times follow the calendar. A fall reset before Thanksgiving and holiday hosting, a January reset after gifts arrive, a spring visit that coincides with the garage season ending in April, and a late-summer back-to-school reset. Our guide on how often to schedule maintenance and the seasonal home reset checklist go deeper.

| Household | Common rhythm |
|---|---|
| Family with young kids | Monthly or every other month |
| Couple or small household | Quarterly |
| Second home or part-time residents | Before arrival and after departure |
| Anyone who entertains often | Before major holidays |
Second homes and seasonal residents
Many homes in Summerlin, Henderson and the guard-gated golf communities belong to people who spend part of the year elsewhere. A maintenance visit before you arrive can restock the pantry zone, reset closets for the season and check that heat-sensitive things are not stored where summer will harm them. After you leave, we close spaces down so they are ready next time. See second home organization for more.
What maintenance visits cost
Most refresh visits are four-hour sessions starting around $600. Four hours is often enough for two or three spaces that were already organized. Larger homes or households that let several months pass between visits may need a full day starting around $1,200 with an eight-hour minimum.
Because the system is already in place, maintenance is usually far quicker than the original project. If you are an existing client, ask us about setting up a recurring schedule.

New to Sorted Spaces but already organized?
You do not have to be an existing client. If your home was organized by you or someone else and the systems are basically sound, we can refresh them. If they need a rethink, we will tell you honestly whether a fuller session, such as whole-home organization, would serve you better.
