A second home should feel ready the minute you walk in
The appeal of a Las Vegas second home is easy arrivals: fly in, drive from the airport and start your stay. That breaks down when the first afternoon goes to finding sheets, buying basics you already own somewhere in the house, or digging golf clubs out of the garage.
We set up the house around arrival. A duplicate set of toiletries waits in the bathroom, a capsule of clothes fits the season you usually visit, and the kitchen holds the dishes, coffee gear and pantry basics you actually use when you are here.
Think of it as packing for the trip once, in advance, and leaving the suitcase unpacked in the right drawers. A short list taped inside a pantry door of what is kept on hand, and where, helps you or a house manager see at a glance what needs restocking before your next visit.
Who owns second homes in the valley and what they usually need
Part-time owners come for different reasons, and the setup follows the reason.
- Winter residents escaping cold climates, who need a light wardrobe and outdoor living gear ready
- Golfers with homes near the valley's golf communities, who want clubs, shoes and bags stored well
- Families who use the home for holidays and need bunk-room and guest-suite systems
- Owners who also host friends or rent occasionally, who need a locked owner's closet
- Business travelers who keep a pied-à-terre or high-rise condo for frequent trips
Organizing for the months the house sits empty
An empty house in the desert has its own issues. Fine dust settles on open shelves and into fabric, and summer heat can affect anything stored in the garage or near exterior walls. We store linens, off-season clothes and extra bedding in lidded bins, keep heat-sensitive items like wine, candles, electronics and photos in the conditioned interior, and keep pantry backstock small so less expires between visits.
Our guide to storing winter clothes in a hot climate covers the wardrobe side if your stays span seasons.

An owner's closet keeps personal things separate
If guests, family or occasional renters use the home, a lockable owner's closet or storage room keeps your personal items, wine and valuables apart. We organize it so it is quick to open on arrival and close up when you leave.
The rest of the home gets labeled, guest-friendly systems so anyone staying can find towels, kitchen tools and remote controls without calling you. If renting is part of the plan, our page on short-term rental organization goes further.
Refresh visits between stays
Between your trips, things drift: guests move items, deliveries pile up and supplies run low. Our maintenance and refresh sessions reset the home's systems, put things back where they belong and restock from the backstock you keep.
Many owners book a session shortly before they arrive so the house is reset. We coordinate access through you, a house manager or a property manager, and can work with other vendors you use.

What second home organizing costs
Initial setups start around $600 with a four-hour minimum. Larger homes or full setups after a purchase often take a full day, around $1,200 for eight hours, or more. Refresh visits are usually shorter.
Products are added only when needed, and we can shop for the duplicate household basics a second home needs as part of the project. We return anything unused.
