Resort living asks for a different kind of organization
Lake Las Vegas is a resort community built around a large man-made lake east of Henderson, toward Lake Mead. It has golf, including the Jack Nicklaus-designed Reflection Bay course, Mediterranean-style architecture, the shops and restaurants of MonteLago Village, and housing that ranges from condos and villas to custom estates on the water.
Some residents live here full time, and many others use their place part of the year. A home that sits empty between visits needs to be easy to open and close, and easy for whoever is resetting it, which is not always the owner.
Second homes: ready when you arrive, simple when you leave
We set up a part-time home so the essentials are always where you expect. Linens and towels are stored by bed size and bathroom. The pantry holds a labeled base stock of nonperishables. A small bin in each bathroom keeps guest toiletries ready.
Closing the house becomes a short checklist rather than a guessing game. Our second-home organization service covers this pattern, and periodic maintenance and refresh sessions keep it in shape between seasons.
We also write down where key things live, such as spare keys, pool supplies or the extra coffee filters, in a short guide kept in a kitchen drawer. Housekeepers, guests and family members can all follow it.
Lake and outdoor gear needs a home that is not the hallway
Paddleboards, kayaks, life vests, beach towels, pool toys and golf clubs pile up quickly in a lake community. We give outdoor gear its own zone, close to the door you use to head out, with wet items kept separate from dry storage.
Heat is the main limit. A garage near the lake still gets extremely hot in summer, so inflatable gear, sunscreen, wine, candles and electronics should live indoors or in a conditioned closet. Garage organizing is scheduled between mid-October and April.

Condos and villas: smaller footprints, sharper editing
Not every home here is an estate. Condos and villas often have fewer closets and a compact kitchen, so editing matters more than adding products. We keep only what the household uses, choose stackable and slim containers, and use vertical space inside cabinets and closets.
If you are furnishing a place for guests or renting it out, we can set it up so cleaning crews and visitors can find and return everything. Short-term rental rules vary, so we leave those questions to you and your management company.
Entry closets in smaller units do a lot of work, holding beach bags, umbrellas and walking shoes. Hooks, a slim shoe rack and one bin per person keep that closet from overflowing into the living room.
How a project here comes together
Lake Las Vegas is one of the closer communities to our studio in Cadence, so flexible scheduling is easy, including a visit before you arrive for the season. If the community or building is gated, add our team to the access list first.
Projects start around $600 with a four-hour minimum, and many take a full day, typically around $1,200. We source the organizing products the plan calls for and return what is not used.
