A whole-home project is one plan carried out in phases, not a series of unrelated rooms
The difference between organizing your whole home and booking rooms one at a time is the plan behind it. Before anyone opens a cabinet, we walk the house with you and decide where each category of belongings should live: entertaining pieces, paperwork, kids' gear, holiday décor, overflow groceries, sports equipment. That decision is what stops the same items from drifting between rooms later.
Then the work runs in phases. Daily-use rooms usually come first because they change how your week feels fastest, and storage zones like the garage, linen closets and guest rooms follow once the house knows what it is keeping.
What gets done in each room
Every room gets the same full treatment rather than a tidy-up. That includes:
- Pulling items out and sorting them into clear categories so you can see what you own
- Editing with you: keep, donate, sell or discard, with every final call yours
- Space planning around how your household actually moves through the room
- Sourcing and installing bins, baskets, drawer inserts and labels where they genuinely help, with unused products returned for you
- Preparing donations and coordinating next steps for anything leaving the house
- A final styling and reset so the room looks finished, not just emptier
How the project runs
- Walk-through and priorities
At the free consultation we see the house, hear what is not working and agree on which rooms matter most.
- A phased schedule
We recommend the room order, team size and number of days, and fit the garage into its cool-weather window.
- Working days
Your organizers sort, edit with you and build systems room by room, finishing each space before moving on.
- Handoff and upkeep
You get a walk-through of every system, and you can book refresh visits to keep the house on track.
How Las Vegas homes shape the order of work
Large master-planned homes in Summerlin, Henderson and the southwest valley often have more storage than their owners have ever had, and that is exactly why it fills with no logic. Walk-in pantries, bonus lofts, casitas and next-gen suites each need a defined job, or they become a second garage.
The garage itself has a season. Because of the heat, Sorted Spaces only organizes garages from mid-October through April, so a spring or summer whole-home project usually finishes the interior first and books the garage for the cooler months. If your project starts in the fall, the garage can move up the list and absorb items that never belonged inside.
Heat also decides what can be stored where. Candles, wine, photographs, electronics, paint and makeup do not survive a Las Vegas garage in July, so part of a whole-home plan is finding interior homes for them.

What whole-home organization costs
Most whole-home projects are booked in full days, which start around $1,200 with an eight-hour minimum. Smaller follow-up sessions start around $600 for four hours. The number of days depends on the size of the house, how much is in it, how much editing you want to do, and whether we bring a larger team to move faster.
Organizing products are a separate cost and only bought when they solve a real problem. We tell you what we recommend, buy it, install it and handle returns on anything that ends up unused. | Project shape | How it is usually booked |
|---|---|
| Condo or smaller single-story home | A few consecutive full days |
| Family home with garage and bonus room | Several full days, often split across two phases |
| Large estate with casita or multiple closets | A multi-day phased plan with a larger team |
Who books a whole-home project
People usually call at a turning point. You moved in quickly and never finished. Your family grew and the house did not keep up. You are about to host, list the home, or have a renovation wrap up. Or you are simply tired of organizing one drawer at a time on weekends.
If you already know you only need one room, a focused session such as kitchen organization may suit you better. If you are in Henderson, our Henderson whole-home page covers the local details.
