A well-organized kitchen is arranged in zones around how you cook
The most practical kitchens are laid out by task, not by what fit where on move-in day. Prep tools and cutting boards sit near the largest stretch of counter. Pots and pans live beside the range. Dishes and glasses go between the dishwasher and the table, so unloading is a few steps rather than a lap around the island. Food storage containers sit near the fridge, where leftovers start their trip.
We map those zones with you first, then fit everything into them. The result feels obvious, which is exactly the point: guests and family can find a mug without asking.
What gets organized in a kitchen session
We work through the whole room, not just the visible shelves:
- Upper and lower cabinets, including deep corner and blind cabinets
- Drawers, with inserts cut or sized for utensils, knives, wraps and linens
- Under-sink storage for cleaning supplies and trash bags
- Island cabinets and seating-side storage
- Small appliances, with a decision on what earns counter space
- Food storage containers matched to lids, with orphans removed
- Coffee or beverage station; see coffee station organization
- Refrigerator zones, if you want them; see refrigerator organization
Editing comes before organizing
Most kitchens hold more than their owners use. Three sets of measuring cups, the bread machine from a past life, wedding china that comes out once a year. We pull everything out, group it, and let you decide what stays in prime space, what moves to higher shelves or a butler's pantry, and what leaves.
Items you rarely use are not banished; they simply move out of the way of daily work. Holiday platters and entertaining pieces often go to a dining room hutch, a garage cabinet in a cooler spot, or a closet.

Las Vegas kitchens: entertaining, open plans and heat
Open-plan kitchens in newer Summerlin and Henderson homes are on display from the living room, so counters matter. We aim for a few intentional items out and everything else behind doors.
Many local homes are built for entertaining, with a large island, a wet bar or a second prep kitchen. We separate everyday dishes from party glassware and serving pieces so hosting does not mean emptying a cabinet. Heat matters too: wine, chocolate, olive oil and candles stay away from the range, sunny windows and exterior walls, and overflow food stays indoors rather than in a summer garage. If your kitchen is in a new build, our guide to organizing a kitchen in a new home covers first-week setup.
Kitchen organizing cost
A typical kitchen is a four-hour session starting around $600. Pairing it with the pantry, a very large kitchen, or a kitchen with a big edit usually needs a full day starting around $1,200 with an eight-hour minimum. Drawer inserts, risers and bins are added only if you want them, and we return what you do not use.
Kitchen and pantry together is one of our most requested projects; see pantry organization for that half of the room.

| Scope | Usual booking |
|---|---|
| Kitchen cabinets and drawers | Four-hour session |
| Kitchen plus walk-in pantry | Full day |
| Kitchen, pantry, bar and butler's pantry | Full day or more with a team |
After a remodel or a move
New cabinetry and new homes are the ideal time to plan a kitchen properly, because nothing has a habit yet. If you just finished a remodel, see post-renovation home organization. If the moving boxes are still stacked by the island, our unpacking services start in the kitchen for exactly that reason.
