Packing for a Las Vegas move, especially in summer
Heat is the local factor most out-of-town packers underestimate. A loaded truck or a closed garage in July gets hot enough to warp candles, spoil wine, damage photographs and stress electronics, makeup and some medications. Desert dust is the other one. If boxes sit in a garage for a few days before the move, we close them fully and keep fabrics and linens wrapped so they arrive clean.
What packing costs
Packing is billed by time and team size. Sessions start around $600 with a four-hour minimum, which suits a single room such as a kitchen or a smaller condo. Whole homes are usually packed over one or more full days, sometimes with a larger team to finish in time for the truck, and a typical full-day packing project starts around $1,800. Full-home packing and unpacking projects average around one to three weeks from the first box to the last.
Your final cost depends on the size of the home, how much needs to be packed, how much sorting you want to do first and how much help, or team size, the job calls for. We will recommend a schedule at your consultation so the last box is sealed before the movers arrive.
Who books professional packing
