We arrange your vanity in the order you get ready
A good vanity layout follows your routine from left to right or top to bottom: skincare first, then base makeup, then eyes and lips, then hair. When products sit in that sequence, getting ready takes fewer steps and nothing gets set down on the counter.
The everyday kit goes in the top drawer or on a single tray. Occasion products, backups and travel sizes go lower or into a cabinet, each in a labeled container.
Desert heat is hard on makeup and skincare
Heat breaks down many cosmetics faster than people realize. Lipsticks soften, foundations separate, sunscreen loses effectiveness, and some skincare actives degrade when stored warm. In a Las Vegas bathroom with a sunny window, or in a bag left in the car, products can spoil long before their printed date.
During the session we look at where products are stored and move anything sensitive away from windows, light fixtures and the area where a hot shower steams the room. Some clients like a small cosmetics fridge for certain skincare; we can make room for one if you have it. We also suggest keeping only a small kit in your car or work bag, since cars here get extremely hot.
- Separated, dried or discolored products
- Mascara and liquid liner opened more than a few months ago
- Sunscreen that has been stored in heat or is past its date
- Products with a changed smell or texture
- Duplicates and shades you no longer wear
What our organizers do during a vanity session
We empty every drawer, cabinet and basket, including the under-sink cabinet and the bag of samples in the linen closet. You decide what to keep after we group everything so duplicates are obvious. Most clients find they own several of the same product in slightly different shades.
Then we measure drawers and choose acrylic or bamboo inserts, small bins, turntables for tall bottles, and holders for brushes and hot tools. Hair tools get a heat-safe home with cords contained. Labels go on backstock bins so you know what you already have before shopping.

Shared vanities and double sinks
Many primary bathrooms in Las Vegas homes have a double vanity, which is a good reason to define each person's side clearly. We set up separate drawers and a shared zone for items like cotton rounds, toothpaste and first aid. In guest baths and casitas, we often create a small, stocked guest kit so visitors have what they need.
Our guide on how to organize makeup covers product grouping in depth, and the guide on organizing a bathroom vanity focuses on drawers and under-sink space.
Vanity projects and the rest of the bathroom
A makeup collection alone may take an hour or two, so most clients pair it with the full bathroom, a linen closet or the primary closet. Our bathroom organization service handles the whole room, and a primary suite with bath, closet and vanity is often a full day around $1,200. Organizing products are added only when they solve a problem, and we return what goes unused.
