Garage organizing runs mid-October through April because of the heat
A closed garage in a Las Vegas summer can get dangerously hot, well beyond the temperature outdoors. Working there for a full day from May to early October is not safe for our team, and it is miserable for clients too. So garage projects are scheduled for the cooler months only.
That window is popular. If you want your garage done before the holidays, or before spring when the weather turns warm again, reach out early. Our guide on the best time to organize a garage in Las Vegas explains how to plan around it.
What a garage project includes
We take the garage from crowded to zoned in one push:
- Pulling items out by category and deciding with you what stays
- Separating donations, items to sell, recycling and trash
- Planning zones: tools, automotive, sports and golf, holiday décor, bulk household supplies, gardening and pool
- Sourcing bins, shelving, racks, bike hooks and wall hooks sized to the space
- Coordinating a handyman to mount wall systems or overhead racks
- Labeling every bin so it can be found from the floor
- A final sweep-out and reset of the floor so cars fit again
What should not live in a Las Vegas garage
Summer heat damages a long list of things people routinely store in garages. Candles melt, wine cooks, photographs and paper warp, electronics and batteries degrade, paint and some chemicals separate, makeup and medications break down, and canned food and pet food spoil faster.
Part of every garage project is finding interior homes for those items, so the garage holds only what can handle the heat. Our guide on what not to store in a Las Vegas garage has the full list.

Dust, large garages and golf gear
Fine desert dust blows under garage doors and settles on everything. We prefer lidded, stackable bins over open shelves for anything you touch only a few times a year, and we keep frequently used tools on wall systems where they can be wiped down.
Three-car and tandem garages are common in Summerlin, Henderson and the southwest valley, and the extra bay often turns into a storage room. We decide with you whether that bay should hold a workshop, a gym corner, golf and pool gear, or a car. Golf communities generate their own clutter: bags, shoes, balls and range gear, which we gather into one easy-to-grab zone. See sports equipment garage organization and garage overhead storage.
Garage organizing cost
Most garages need a full day starting around $1,200 with an eight-hour minimum. Large three-car garages with a lot to edit can take more than one day or a larger team. A small, relatively tidy garage that just needs zoning and bins may fit in a four-hour session starting around $600.
Shelving, bins and hooks are added only for what you approve, and we return anything left over. Any mounting is done by a handyman we coordinate, billed by them. Read our garage organization cost guide for more on what affects the total.

| Garage | Usual booking |
|---|---|
| Two-car, moderate contents | One full day |
| Three-car or tandem, heavy contents | Full day plus a second day or larger team |
| Already tidy, needs zones and bins | Four-hour session |
