An established community means decades of belongings to edit
Canyon Gate, off West Sahara Avenue, is one of the older guard-gated golf communities in the valley, built around the Canyon Gate Country Club course. Its homes have had time to collect: inherited china, boxes from a previous move that were never opened, children's keepsakes and hobby supplies.
We approach those spaces gently. Each category comes out, you see it all together, and you decide what stays. Sentimental items get extra time and a proper home rather than a box in the back of a closet. Our approach to decluttering is built around that kind of patience.
After a remodel, the new cabinets still need a plan
Older homes in established communities often go through kitchen, bath and closet remodels. The finishes change, but the contents usually go back where they were, or into whichever cabinet is closest to the box.
We help you set up the remodeled space from scratch: measuring drawers for inserts, choosing which cabinet holds everyday dishes and planning the pantry around how you cook now. Our post-renovation home organization service picks up where the contractor leaves off.
Downsizing from Canyon Gate is a series of small, clear decisions
When a long-time owner moves to a smaller home or a 55+ community, the hardest part is deciding what makes the trip. We help you measure the new space, then sort the current home by room into keep, family, donate and sell.
Furniture and household goods that are leaving can go to well-known valley options such as Opportunity Village, the Salvation Army or the Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas ReStore. We stage and label donations; transport and junk removal are handled by vendors we can coordinate. See our downsizing organizer page for the full process.
- Measure the new home's closets, kitchen and garage first
- Decide on large furniture before small items
- Label boxes for family members as you go
- Pack only what has a confirmed spot in the new home

Garages and golf storage are seasonal work
We organize garages from mid-October through April, because summer heat in a closed garage is hard on people and on stored items. In a golf community, that usually includes a station for clubs, shoes and cart accessories near the door.
We also move heat-sensitive items such as old photos, paint, candles and electronics into the house, where temperatures are controlled. What remains is zoned by use, with seasonal decor up high and everyday tools within reach.
Golf households in Canyon Gate often keep a second set of clubs for visiting family or travel, along with a travel case that only comes out a few times a year. We store the travel case and spare set high or in a side bay so the everyday bag stays within one step of the car.
Scheduling a Canyon Gate project
Because the community is gated, we confirm our arrival with you and the gate ahead of time. We come from our Henderson studio in Cadence, and plan start times around the drive across town, as we do for every community on our service areas list.
Focused projects start around $600 with a four-hour minimum. Whole-room projects and downsizing days are usually full days, with a typical full day around $1,200. If we buy products for the space, any you do not use are returned for you.
