What Peccole Ranch homes are like, and why that matters
Peccole Ranch sits on the west side of Las Vegas, around Charleston Boulevard and the Rampart and Hualapai corridors, bordering Summerlin and Queensridge. It was planned as a mix of neighborhoods, with single-family homes, townhomes and apartments, parks and nearby shopping, and most of it was built in the late 1980s and 1990s.
Homes from that period usually have tidy layouts but modest built-in storage compared with today's builds. Add twenty or thirty years of family life, and it is common to find a garage at capacity, a pantry that has spread onto the counter and a spare room doing the job of an attic.
The upside is that these houses are rarely short on potential. Once the excess is cleared, a well-planned hall closet or a garage wall of shelving often solves what felt like a space problem.
A room-by-room approach for a lived-in family home
Trying to fix a whole house at once tends to stall. We prefer to finish one room completely before moving on, so you always have at least one space that works the way it should.
- Kitchen and pantry: clear the counters, group food by type, put everyday items at arm's reach
- Primary closet: edit, then hang by category, give shoes and accessories a defined place
- Kids' or teen rooms: simplify toys and clothing, add labeled bins they can manage
- Home office: sort paper, set up a short file system, contain cords and supplies
- Garage: zones for tools, sports, holiday and car care, scheduled in the cooler months
Working from home in a 1990s floor plan
Many Peccole Ranch residents now work from home in what was built as a guest room or a formal dining room. Those rooms were not designed as offices, so they tend to collect paper, supplies and tech with no plan.
We set up a desk that stays clear, a file system with only the categories you actually use, labeled bins for supplies and a single spot for chargers and cables. If the room still has to double as a guest space, we keep office items contained so it can be switched over quickly. Our home office organization service covers this in more depth.

Garages: a west-side summer is hard on what you store
In summer, a closed garage in Las Vegas gets far hotter than outdoor temperatures that already pass 110 degrees. Paint, aerosols, candles, photos, documents, wine and electronics should not be stored there, and we move them indoors as part of the project.
With those out of the way, the garage holds what it should, on sturdy shelving with labeled lidded bins that keep out desert dust. We book garage days from mid-October through April so the work can be done safely. See our garage organization page for more.
Scheduling and cost for a Peccole Ranch project
Our studio is in Cadence, in Henderson, so Peccole Ranch is a drive across the valley. We schedule start times around traffic and arrive with the products the plan calls for, which means no time wasted on store runs.
Smaller sessions start around $600 with a four-hour minimum, and a full day typically runs around $1,200 with an eight-hour minimum. The price depends on the size of the space, the volume of belongings, how much decluttering is involved, the team size and the products, and anything we buy that goes unused is returned.
