We take over where the design install ends
A beautiful kitchen still needs someone to decide where the everyday plates, the stand mixer and forty spice jars belong. A custom closet still needs to be filled. Designers often end up doing that unpaid, or leaving clients to undo their work by putting things wherever they fit.
We handle that final layer. Once furnishings are in and trades are finished, our team unpacks, sorts and places belongings in the cabinets, closets, pantries and bathrooms you designed, with containers that suit your material palette. The rooms stay looking the way you intended because everything has a home.
How a designer referral works in practice
There's no program to join. You introduce us, your client contacts the studio for a free consultation, and we confirm the scope and timing with both of you.
- You share the project timeline, especially the install date and any reveal you're planning
- Your client books a consultation and we walk the home or review photos and plans
- We recommend team size and hours and confirm what you'd like us to source versus what you're specifying
- We work after your install, or in phases if rooms finish at different times
- Unused organizing products are returned, so your client only keeps what was used
Product choices that respect your design
Organizing products are visible: bins on open shelves, baskets in a mudroom, canisters in a pantry. We ask what finishes, colors and textures you want before sourcing, and we can work from a product list you provide. If you prefer to specify and order products yourself, we'll install and label them.
Labels are part of the look too. We match label style and placement to the room, from discreet tags inside drawers to visible labels in a pantry. Our custom storage organization page shows the kinds of storage we usually finish.

Clear lines between the designer, the trades and us
Roles are simple. You design and specify. Contractors, closet companies and installers build and install shelving, cabinetry and hardware. We organize belongings, source and install organizing products like bins, dividers and drawer inserts, and coordinate with you on styling the functional storage.
We don't alter built-ins, move heavy furniture across town or clean. If something about a closet layout won't work for the client's belongings, we tell you early so it can be adjusted before the installer leaves. That kind of feedback is easiest when we're brought in at the planning stage, which our page comparing an organizer and a custom closet company explains further.
Your own studio and sample library
Design studios accumulate fabric books, tile boards, finish samples, hardware and catalogs faster than almost any other business. We sort them by category and vendor, cull discontinued lines with your approval and set up labeled storage so you can pull a palette for a client meeting in minutes.
In the valley, sample rooms in flex spaces or garages can get hot in summer, which is hard on adhesive-backed samples and some textiles. We help you place them in the coolest stable area available. For receptions and client areas in the studio, see our showroom organization service.
