Movers deliver the boxes; we turn them into a working home
The moving company handles transport, delivery and furniture placement. What is usually left is a house full of cartons and a family trying to find the coffee maker. That last stretch, from delivered to settled, is where we come in.
Our team unpacks room by room, puts belongings away in a logical layout, sets up the kitchen, closets and bathrooms first and removes packing materials as we go. The family makes every decision about where things go, and we keep the work moving.
Families usually ask us to start with the kitchen, the children's rooms and the primary bath, because those three make the first night manageable. We adjust that order to whatever matters most to them.
How a relocation referral typically works
Every relocation provider runs things differently, so we keep our part flexible and confirm the details for each family.
- The coordinator or consultant introduces us to the transferee, or shares their contact with permission
- We hold a free consultation with the family by phone or video, often before they arrive in Las Vegas
- We agree on rooms, team size and hours, and confirm who is booking and who is paying
- We schedule for the delivery day or the days after, matching the moving company's timing
- We unpack, organize and set up, then hand the home over ready to use
What transferees moving to Las Vegas need to know
A large share of people moving to the valley come from California and other states, often into newer homes in master-planned communities in Henderson, Summerlin and the southwest. Those homes tend to have generous pantries, walk-in closets and three-car or tandem garages, which take some planning to use well.
Summer arrivals are common and the heat is real. Garages can reach temperatures that are hard on electronics, photos, candles, wine and paint, so we prioritize getting those items into the house during unpacking. Garage organizing itself runs mid-October through April. Our page for families moving to Las Vegas from California goes into more of these local details.

We work alongside the rest of the relocation team
Destination services consultants find the home and orient the family. The moving company packs, ships and delivers. We take over at the door. Where helpful, we can coordinate with handymen to hang pictures or assemble items the movers didn't, and with junk removal for any packing debris the movers don't take back.
We don't move furniture between homes, store goods, or handle the shipment itself. Keeping roles clear makes scheduling easier for everyone. If the family arrives before their furniture, we can still help set up whatever has arrived and come back for a second session when the rest is delivered.
Remote and executive relocations
Some transferees can't be on site when their shipment arrives, especially executives starting work right away or families still finishing a school year elsewhere. With the family's permission and a plan for access, we can unpack and set up the home so it is ready when they walk in. We send photos and questions as we go so decisions stay theirs.
For higher-volume or high-value shipments, our luxury move-in unpacking service describes how we handle wardrobes, art and collections with extra care. The remote move-in home setup page explains the process for owners who aren't in town yet.
