Relocations run on someone else's calendar, so the plan starts with your start date
A personal move can slide a week; a relocation usually cannot. Start dates, temporary housing that ends on a fixed day, and a moving company booked by an employer all set hard edges on the schedule.
We work backward from those dates. If you are leaving Las Vegas, we schedule packing so the last boxes close the day before the truck. If you are arriving, we book unpacking once delivery is confirmed and line up the most important rooms first.
What we handle, and what your mover or relocation company handles
Responsibilities on a relocation can blur, and knowing who does what avoids surprises. Here is how the work usually divides when Sorted Spaces is involved.
| Task | Who usually handles it |
|---|---|
| Transporting belongings between homes | Your moving company |
| Packing a Las Vegas home room by room with detailed labels | Sorted Spaces, unless your mover's package includes packing |
| Unpacking boxes and putting items away by plan | Sorted Spaces |
| Setting up kitchen, closets, bathrooms and a work-from-home desk | Sorted Spaces |
| Sourcing bins, dividers and labels, and returning unused products | Sorted Spaces |
| Handyman tasks, junk removal, other vendors | Coordinated by Sorted Spaces, performed by those vendors |
| Relocation policy, reimbursements, temporary housing | Your employer or relocation company |
Arriving in Las Vegas for a new job
People relocate here for hospitality, healthcare, construction, tech, the military and more, and many arrive with a long list of firsts: a new commute, new schools, a new climate. A home that is unpacked and set up removes one of the heaviest items on that list.
We prioritize the rooms that let you function: kitchen basics, beds made, bathrooms stocked, and a home office if you work remotely. Then we work through closets, the pantry and storage areas. Garage organizing runs from mid-October through April due to the heat, so summer arrivals often get the house first and the garage in fall.

Leaving Las Vegas on a transfer
When the move is outbound, our packing services take the house apart in an organized way. We pack by room and category and label every box so whoever unpacks at the other end knows where it goes.
A transfer is also a chance to edit. Shipping costs often depend on weight or volume, so deciding before packing what to donate, sell or leave behind can matter. You make every decision; up to a carload of donations can go with us after a packing session, and we can point you to places to donate furniture in Las Vegas.
Working with relocation companies and HR teams
If your relocation is managed through a corporate relocation provider, we can fit into that structure, scheduling around the mover's dates and keeping you or your coordinator posted. Companies that want an ongoing partner can read about our relocation company organizing partnership.
Pricing stays simple: smaller projects start around $600 with a four-hour minimum, and a typical full-day packing or unpacking project starts around $1,800. Larger homes usually take more than one full day with a team, and full-home packing and unpacking projects average around one to three weeks. Products are added only when your plan calls for them.
