Why an organizing session works as a closing gift
The week after closing is when buyers feel the weight of the move. Boxes fill every room, the kitchen isn't usable and nobody knows where the towels went. A gift that removes some of that stress is remembered long after a bottle of wine or a cutting board.
It also fits almost every buyer. First-time buyers with a small home, families relocating from California, empty nesters downsizing into a single-story home, and military families arriving at Nellis all face the same pile of boxes. The session is shaped around what they need, not a set menu.
How to arrange the gift with our studio
The process is a conversation, not a form. Call or message the studio, tell us about the buyer and the closing date, and we'll handle the rest with you.
- Contact Sorted Spaces with the buyer's name, the property's area of the valley and the expected closing date
- Choose the length: a four-hour session or a full day
- Decide with us whether organizing products, if the buyer wants any, are included in your gift or billed to the buyer
- Tell your buyer about the gift in your own way, at closing or with the keys
- We contact the buyer to schedule at a time that suits their move
Choosing between four hours and a full day
A four-hour session, which starts around $600, is a good fit for one high-impact room. Most buyers choose the kitchen, because unpacking dishes, pantry items and small appliances is slow work and a working kitchen makes everything else easier. A primary closet or a bathroom suite also fits comfortably.
A full day, typically around $1,200 with an eight-hour minimum, lets our team get through the kitchen plus a closet or two, or set up several bedrooms for a family. For very large homes or full move-ins, the buyer can always book additional time themselves. Our pricing page explains what affects the time a project needs.

| Session | Often used for |
|---|---|
| Four hours (from around $600) | Kitchen unpack and setup, one walk-in closet, a primary bath |
| Full day (around $1,200) | Kitchen plus closets, kids' rooms, or a broad first-week setup |
What happens on the buyer's session
Our team arrives after the movers have delivered the boxes. We unpack the agreed rooms, put things away in a logical order, flatten and remove packing materials from those rooms and leave the space ready to use. Movers handle transport and furniture placement; we handle unpacking and organizing.
If the buyer needs bins, drawer dividers or shelf risers, we can source them, and anything unused is returned. The buyer makes every decision about where their things go and what they keep. Our guide to what to unpack first after a move gives buyers a head start if they want to prepare.
Timing the gift around a Las Vegas move
Summer moves in the valley are hot and tiring, and buyers often appreciate help most in the first few days. We recommend the buyer schedule the session soon after the movers arrive while boxes are still sealed and decisions are fresh.
Garage organizing is offered mid-October through April because of the heat, so a summer gift should focus indoors. If your buyers are building in a new master-planned community and closing on a set date, let us know early so we can hold time around it.
